Since the special term is highly compressed, the two meetings that you will have on each of the two days (Tuesday or Thursday) will be equivalent to one week's classes. So, for each day you should expect up to 60 pages of reading. In order to get the most out of this course, all readings listed as "required" should be done in advance of the seminar meetings. You are strongly encouraged to read those listed as "supplementary," and where possible use them to help with your project and paper assignments.
